Baltimore’s Best Record Label’s New Album
Mania Music Group, a local hip-hop label that recently was named by City Paper as the Best Label in their Best of Baltimore 2009, is gearing up for its release of their new album Welcome to the Audience. The album will feature the label’s four rappers Kane Mayfield, Dappa Dan Midas, Rapman Ron G and their newest member Milly July with DJ Blak Majik on the wheels of steel.

DJ Blak Majik is a graduating senior at Towson, and joined the label after interning with them in late 2008.
“I know from the work I’ve done personally, which is minimal compared to everybody else, there is just so much effort that has gone into this. There is going to be so much great music on the album, I can’t wait for the release to hear how awesome the final product is.”
To promote the full-length release, Mania has posted a 9-track mixtape online called Welcome to the Soundcheck, which can be downloaded in a multitude of formats for free.
